Right now, hundreds of people in France and around the world are preparing actions that will contribute to the momentum of the summer games.
To these we can add all the great actions that have taken place. These activities are driven by the desire to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed. They are also about leaving a legacy.
When we raise the question “What legacy will we leave?”, we are, first of all, reassured by the truth that God is at work and that He will accomplish His purposes. It is He who gives a lasting legacy through transformed lives.
Beyond this spiritual heritage, we are cultivating fruitful collaborations that will be a lasting legacy. Its collaborations are the fruit of what is happening in the spheres and cities involved in the Ensemble 2024 dynamic.
In different spheres (social, arts, sports, sharing, prayer, neighborhood) and cities (Paris, Grenoble, Lille, Nantes, Toulouse, etc.) new relationships are formed, shared experiences deepen those relationships and together new skills are acquired. These relationships, experiences and skills are the elements that contribute to the fruitful and lasting collaborations that will be the legacy of the 2024 Summer Games.
