Ensemble2024 Charter

  1. The purpose of this document
This charter exists to provide a framework for those who will be contributing to the Ensemble 2024 collective. Ensemble 2024 declines all responsibility in the event of non-compliance with the instructions presented, especially those relating to the Olympic Charter and French law.
  2. The purpose and organization of Ensemble 2024
Ensemble 2024 is a collective made up of different entities (companies, non-profit organizations, sports, cultural, tourism, religious associations…) and individuals who see the summer 2024 games period as an extraordinary and unique opportunity to work for the well-being of France. In the midst of these events, they also want to radiate the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed. To facilitate the actions of the Ensemble 2024 collective, a team has been formed, made up of members of the partner organizations. Its mission is to encourage and support the implementation of strategic projects linked to the six identified thematic spheres (sharing, sports/leisure, social, arts and culture, prayer, neighborhood service). This team connects project stakeholders to enable people to work together according to their interests for greater impact.
  3. The values that bind us and indicate the way we want to live our actions are the following:
Living as servants, our desire is to be present to the French community, serving it so that it can be impacted and transformed during this period.
Working as a team: we believe that any burden is lighter when carried by several people, so we want the proposed actions to be carried by teams.
Creating partnerships is the key. By grouping together by sphere, with the same values and objectives, we could increase the impact and scope of the projects and services offered in our neighborhoods and towns.
  4. Relationships between partners
Our collective is a reflection of the diversity of the French community and abroad, with the common values mentioned above. Several “types” of collaboration will be possible, based on the principles of mutual respect and shared interests. We believe that the diversity and expertise of our partners enhances the richness of our collaborations.
  5. Our attitude towards the Olympic movement
It is important to maintain a posture of service and respect the instructions given by the Olympic movement. The use of visuals and/or words specific to betting games is strictly regulated by law.
  6. Insurance
All participants must be covered by third-party insurance.
  7. Our behavior in public spaces
We recognize that the quality of our collective witness depends on our mutual respect, and our commitment to responsible behavior in the public space. We are committed to respecting the diversity of individuals, recognizing cultural, social, ethnic and personal differences.

    – Civic-mindedness: We aim to contribute to the well-being of the community by adopting civic-minded behavior, such as keeping public spaces clean and cooperating with the authorities.
We undertake to comply with French law concerning demonstrations in public spaces.

    – Discrimination: The Ensemble24 collective does not accept discrimination of any kind: whether on the grounds of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, nationality, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.

    – Secularism: Secularism is based on three principles: freedom of conscience, freedom to manifest one’s beliefs within the limits of public order, separation of public institutions and religious organizations, and equality of all before the law, whatever their beliefs or convictions. It’s also important to understand that we’re here to bring real benevolence to society, to respond to needs, and not to proselytize, especially around competition venues.

Commitment to the Protection of Minors :
Children’s Rights and Dignity: We recognize that every child has the right to dignity, respect, safety and protection from all forms of abuse, exploitation or neglect.

    – Compliance with Laws and Standards: We undertake to comply with all national and international laws and standards relating to the protection of minors, including the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
