Last week, PSALT and its SALTY CHOIR collaborated with the PARIS PRAISE FESTIVAL for a festive week of concerts, outdoor evangelistic activities, and sports tournaments across the streets of Paris and La Défense.
Several artists, bands, and dance groups traveled from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and various regions of France to celebrate the unity in Christ of all nations and to bear witness to faith, hope, and love.
Throughout the day, open-air concerts, dance performances by Korean hip-hop and K-pop groups, and the distribution of Olympic pins and New Testaments provided by the Bible Society took place, along with other resources aimed at spreading the Good News. Each evening, a concert was held in a different location in Paris, near the Games, with various themes.
The goal was to offer the world a testimony of a people united in Christ for the same cause, sharing their faith and hope through a diverse array of cultural expressions. From opera to hip-hop, from Taiwan’s indigenous peoples to Paris’s intercultural choirs, all aimed to celebrate the name of Jesus and the salvation He offers to the world, praying that this testimony may resonate beyond our humble efforts.
