1,300 people gathered at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin for the Fête Sport et Unité, while at the same time the Olympic flame arrived in France. Praises, prayers and a futsal tournament enlivened the stadium, in the presence of representatives of the various Christian churches in France, as well as top athletes who came to share their faith. A festive and fraternal moment to celebrate the unity of Christians in sport and in their faith, and to prepare to place the Summer Games under God’s blessing.
